A soggy start to the year
A great start to the year with a turnout of 17! Troops rallied by Peter Darraghs rallying call!
A new venue for Slemish, Loyola turned out very wet underfoot, with a lot of lot balls on the fairway, and heavy rough when of course. But it must be said it's a very attractive course, with it's signature 17th hole wound round by the Loyola River being one of the most stunning in the country.
While the soft ground challenged some stalwarts, Joe Mathers just did what he's been doing recently and plotted his way around the course to victory!
