On a fine day back at Cloverhill and despite a small turnout the golf was top class, Fra taking victory with 40pts, when informed of his victory he was lost for words part from one small comment! "Thank-you".
But that silver cloud had a small grey lining - big hitting Pete MacManus took the matchplay victory on the first extra hole. This sets up semi finals at Clandeboye of Mark Murphy v Marc Steenson and Stevie Malone v Pete MacManus.
